Plutón Festival @ the Grainstore

Pluton Festival

Started in 1999, Plutón Festival, (named after planetoid Pluto, in Spanish), is the smallest comics festival in the world. It is a nomadic event and this time it has landed at the Grainstore.

It has only two rules. Rule number 1: It is a festival, not a competition. Rule number 2: Draw, collage, compose, sculpt away... but by the end your piece has to be on the wall/heard/witnessed. Led by artist Elida Maiques, this is a friendly open art session. Come and experiment.

7:30 – 8:45pm (16 – 25 years)

Starts 19 September

CANVAS is the Grainstore’s Youth Arts Committee and they are actively involved in shaping and influencing the artistic life of the Grainstore. They are looking for new members, if you would like to help choose and run different art projects join us on Wednesday nights!

There will be a drop in session on Wednesday 10 October - come along and find out what it is all about
